And the green Planeswalker....
There we have it. Brion seems very very good to me. A Gruul staple alongside the likes of Solifuge and Burning Tree Shaman. I think he would sit quite nice at the top of the curve. Summon the Schools is a poor man's Sprout Swarm and Warren Pilferers will be a limited staple.
But the Planeswalker. I'm going to go on record as saying this guy is better than Liliana Vess. He effectively costs 2 because of the +1 ability (you can use one ability on each of your turns at sorcery speed, included the turn you cast it) and he Overruns the next turn!
As an aside, I want to offer a big pat on the back to Robin - most of his predictions were pretty spot on according to Inquest. To clarify...
Summary of how Planeswalkers work:
-Planeswalkers come into play with Loyalty counters equal to their loyalty
-You can use one of their abilities once per turn, including the turn
they come into play for the loyalty cost/benefit. (Although the article
doesn't say it, it would seem to be that it is only on your turn,
otherwise Liliana Vess easily locks your opponent out once they have no
cards left in hand)
-When a Planeswalker has 0 loyalty it goes to your graveyard
-You can attack planeswalkers with creatures to reduce their loyalty
-If a spell or ability would deal damage to a player you can choose for it to hit one of that players planeswalkers instead
-You can have multiple Planeswalkers in play at a time, just not ones with the same subtype
