Hey guys.

I went undefeated at Illinois States, taking first place.

I realize I haven't blogged/written an article in a while, and, frankly, the reason is because I felt like my game was regressing and so no one would want to hear anything a mid-tier PTQ player had to say. Shortly after I overcame this insecurity, I bunkered down into testing. I was going to write some articles on the testing process, but the technology ended up being so good, that I wanted to prove to myself that my testing was solid before I made any bold claims.

After all, the deck looks awful on paper.

Or, I guess, really good.  If this were a Lorwyn Sealed event. 

Now I have, as they say, evidence to support my claims.

Expect a two part article soon, first about the tournament and deck itself, and next about the 3-week prep I did for the event.
