Well, it's Thursday now and all the hero cards, Traitor and faithful Alliance/Horde alike, have been spoiled. On Tuesday, I talked about a few of the hero cards seemingly at random, saying what initially came to mind when I saw them and musing over where they might take deck building. Only two days left until the Sneak and all the new cards from SotB hit the public eye, and only two more days to look over what cards we do now and ponder what changes they might bring. Sneak Preview is coming up in just a few days. At the very worst, it's a great opportunity to pick up cards from the new set before their street date, get a cool EA and spend an early part of a day playing an awesome game with exciting new cards - and hey, you get exactly your money's worth in cards that you paid. At best, you're spending $25 and walking away with your deck packs plus prize packs and maybe that playmat at the end of the day. We're seeing previews trickling in every day, and... Read More
My first tcgplayer.com blog. Hmm... may as well introduce myself. I opened and ran a comic book/gaming store called "TradeWinds Cards & Games" for four years, until a pending divorce caused... Read More

I kinda feel like you deserve an explanation as to why you haven't seen anything new on these pages lately, so here it is. To be perfectly honest, I'm a little disenchanted with the WoW TCG right now. I missed Worlds because I was sick. The last Regional I played in before that was in November. There have only been 2 Realm Qualifiers anywhere near me since then and they were both... Read More
A Player's Toolbox There's been a rise in slower, control minded decks of late. Rush is still out there, but more and more you see people toying with different kinds of control (rogue discard, warrior control, warlock control) and you see them packing at least a few of the big end game allies like the Greench or Varimathras or Ishanah. The allies in themselves are basically the win conditions and the entire purpose of the rest of the deck is to drag the game out until the big ally can... Read More
