Being a girl in the magic world is tough. Oh sob story oh woe-is-me yes however it is true. As a girl you have only a few choices as far as I see it. It's been a busy weekend. Shadowmoor officially released Friday which means a lot of Shadowmoor limited. So much so that I'm pretty certain that I'm going to want to split it into two blogs. I think a good division will be the Saturday events in this one -- the Sealed and a side draft -- and then the other drafts in another. A friend of mine was asking me why I don't write blogs anymore. I said that I still write blogs regularly, but it just looks like I don't because TCGplayer moved my stuff into the 'actual writers' column. Also, my face doesn't adorn the thumbnail as it used to when I had my own little box in the upper right hand corner of the magic page. Okay, so I recently posted about my Intruder Alarm deck I ran last weekend. I was pretty happy with the deck, but there's a lot of room for improvement, particularly in the area of making the combo more powerful. As it is now, making a ton of elves is nice, but it lacks the oomph of more game winning combos. I want to try using merfolk looter to draw infinite cards and blasting station to slap down instant-speed wins without using an attack phase... But I can't figure out where they would go in...
