Have you experienced The Cube? I have and have to say that it is the most amazing Magic: The Gathering format I have ever played. For those of you who like Drafting, Old School Magic and Formats that are Skill Testing or Casual, this is for you. What is The Cube? The Cube The Cube is all of the best cards in Magic collected, crammed into a box, stirred up, sleeved (for the most part), made into packs and drafted (drafting is the most popular, but there are other formats.) After all that and reading some other’s thoughts on the matter I figured I’d chime in a bit. How much does the M in LLM changes things? If I had to take a wild guess I’d put it somewhere around 33%, but in all honesty I don’t think it’s even that much. You’re probably going to be playing... Read More
So, a couple of days later than planned, but we finally get to the renaissance man of the colour pie - green. Green has seen a fantastic rejuvination of late which is great to see. I personally think that, certainly before Worlds anyway, green was criminally underdrafted. My initial feeling was that the balance would begin to redress itself but seeing how silly blue has gotten I might be wrong. If people keep on drafting blue where you are, be prepared to grab green because if you are one of onl... Read More
