Welcome to part 2 the green cards. Part 1 was red.

A quick recap: this series is for rogue/casual players going to regionals. If you aren't netdecking or spending a ton of money getting new cards, this is a look at useful cards you might already have that aren't getting a lot of notice in Standard at the moment.

Or on the flip side, if you are netdecking, this might be the kind of cards you'll see from a rogue deck.

Casual player's effective Red cards for regionals

Regionals is random. More than any other tournament, there'll be the more casual players. The ones who play a card in their deck because they own it rather than a better one they don't own. They'll play aggro because its more fun than combo or control.

And with any luck, they read articles because I'm writing for them: the other guys, the Mystery Men.

Random doesn't mean "bad" it means "unpredictable". Not having access to all the most expensive cards means you have to build decks... Read More

Casually Constructed: Eddie’s fun look at the inferior non-limited format
