Short recap of my matches (I played the Faerie-Counterbalance deck I showed you last week): Round 1: B/R midrange. Won 2-0. Vensered Gargadons both games. Round 2: MBC. Lost 1-2. Misplayed for the loss in Game 3. So it goes (he was the defending Regionals champ so I didn't feel too bad). Well States is over and I thought I would pass on a couple quick highlights for the event.

So States has come and gone and I managed to get 2nd thanks to Stuffy Doll. Who did I lose to in the finals of the Iowa Championship? None other than Brandon Scheel, in the mirror match no less. So I did not achieve my "Ten Decks in Ten Days" goal. I wanted to really test each deck I would present, so as to achieve a representative sampling of the field.
