Recently I seem to be cursed to walk in the shadow of everyones favorite Ronin, Robin Russell. I spent hours writing a breakdown about how clash wasn't just a random mechanic, and how it could really be helpful, only to have Robin write a much better analysis of the mechanic that said what I was trying to say, but with mathematical proofs and other fancy things like good writing, and proper grammar. We're winding up for States (and similarly named tournaments around the world) next week and it brought to mind a simple fact: almost nobody has tested enough or correctly to bother going. That is, atleast, if you actually want to win it. Possibly more hyped then that one hobbit guy (see:GW 2/2), Doran, The Siege Tower seems to be one of the big highlights of Lorywn. From what I understand, 5/5 for three mana is pretty good. Of course, Doran also comes with a wierd bit of game-altering text, forcing toughness to be the sole-digit used in combat.
