winning tournament's for cheap

As We all know wining a shonen jump can be extremely difficult if your not willing to spend hundred’s of dollars or more on your deck, but would've if I can tell you that you can build a tournament winning deck for under a hundred dollars would you be interested? of course you would unless your extremely rich. So this is what this blog, is about winning cheap.

As we all know Gadget's are on a decline right now as far as becoming competitive in a format where at any one moment you can be wiped out in a single blow. Well what if I can tell you that there is a gadget build that can be consistently competitive and didn’t cost over a hundred dollars. Could you believe it! well believe it because here it is.

Monster's 16

Now I must warn you. You must be skilled to use this deck. This deck takes a great amount of concentration and skill for it to be pulled off accurately. So now let's dissect this deck from the Start.

The Monster Line up Is extremely different from your basic oppression gadget deck. First let's start up with necro gardna. Necro gardna in my opinion is an extremely under used card, which has the ability to disrupt your opponents's strategy while giving you the necessary time needed to create your own. The ability to stall and otk in this format is extremely useful and very devastating to your opponents. Another reason why necro gardna is useful is because it can be used instead of a deck thinning gadget for pwwb and snipe hunter leaving you with more options for your gadget's.

Another monster we haven't seen in a long time is cyber dragon. Remember in the old format's cyber Dragon use to be the scariest card in the game well now because
we no longer use royal oppression any more. We can finally add that long thing gadget's lack Attack monster's. with The use of cyber dragon again gadget duelist know longer have to worry about a stratos or a prisma dominating the early monster battle portion anymore, Which for a gadget duelist this can be extremely wonder full.

Now for the rest of the starting monster's everything seems basic except for one particular monster That is D.D Warrior lady. D.D warrior lady was put in there for those aggressive duelist like DAD duelist and for when GB duelist actually have Herklinos on the field. imagine if a herklinos attacks a D.D warrior lady could you imagine you opponent’s face. I know i can because it has happened to my opponent's. Trust me it's funny.

Now Let's look at the spell line-up because this where your skill set can take place. Starting with the Obivious Prohibition.
If you been playing yugioh as long as i have,4 plus years you have always noticed that Prohibition has been used as a side deck card. Now i ask you the duelist why has it been used as a side deck card? The answer is simply to observe your opponent's hand in game one,and then use prohibiton to prevent their big plays in game's 2 and 3. Now i'll ask you another question, When your dueling don't you always notice by turn 1 or 2 what deck your opponent is running unless it's completely random? the answer to that is obviously yes. So why not stop there big plays in duel number one and take control of the situation from here on out. Here 's An example
dueliest one has an opening hand of

1) elemental hero Stratos
2) destiny Draw
1) Destiny Hero malicious
1)Solemn Judgment
1)Dark Armed dragon

First Of all This is a Broken Hand!

Now let's look at your Hand

1) cyber Dragon
1) Red gadget
1) Yellow gadget
1)Necro Gardna
2) Prohibition

This is an okay Hand
Now on your opponent First Turn More than likely there going to use destiny draw on malicious then there going to summon stratos. Then search for Destiny Hero Disk Commander Then Use destiny Draw again to draw which will probably be another dark monster to use in the graveyard. Finally there going to set that solemn judgment and probably a bluff because DAD doesn't carry that much defense anyway.

So now it's your turn, To think about what you're going to do. Instantly you know there running DAD. So you figured you just use Prohibition on Dark armed and you got it right? No way dude your Probably going to get laugh at. Just Think of Prohibition as a little mind Crush as you need to be a hundred percent sure your going to use it right. So this is what you really Do.you now use the cyber Dragon because you no longer have royal oppression holding
you down anymore and attack stratos, for life point damage. Then you set necro gardna and pass. Remember that your opponent can not otk you anymore because of dimension fusion being banned.
 
So your opponent manages to get a third dark in the graveyard don't panic because that's why you have necro gardna in the first place they activate DAD effect with priorty of course then you activate your necro gardna effect. See what i meant about stalling for a set-up situation. Know because you run gadgets your next card will probably an card that can switch DAD effect around. So know you activate prohibition first on their face-down solemn judgment so they can't stop your new card on dark Armed then Prohibition DARk Armed for the remainder of the match. There total lock control. That was and example that happened to me at a tournament, and that's why prohibition is there to totally control everything.

Now the rest of the magic cards are just staples for any gadget deck except shrink. Sorry not a big fan of shrink.

Part three of this deck is the Trap line-up of the deck. This part takes patience.
Now solemn judgment is extremley obvious for a deck like this it negates quality cards that can turn the tide of the dual or for cards that try to destroy your Prohibition because there locked like dust tornado, mystical space typhoon and Heavy storm.
 
Solemn judgment in my opinion is to broken of a card to be kept at three oh well might as abuse it now.

Now let's talk about Black horn of Heaven. In My extensive research i've noticed that solemn judgment and royal oppression required to many life points, espically for the fact that you didn't have any strong monster's to try and balance that ratio. So that's where black horn

of heaven kicks in. This card does two things that make it better than royal oppression. First is that it doesn't Clog the backfield to much and secondly and most importantly it's a free cost. Which works friendly with solemn judgment.

The final Trap Card that i want to get to is Phoenix wing Wind Blast. Talk about an ultimate strategy buster this card is that and a bag of chips. The Reason i targeted this card is because it's necro gardna friendly which in my opinion works wonder's for a deck like This. So that's the Trap line -up for this deck.

Now i was going to to explain the side deck for this but i'ts pretty much basic for every deck in this format. so instead i'm going to show the statitics of this deck against other top deck's.

GB (Gladiator Beast)

went against 211 times
Won 179 Times ( Usually Prohibition wins it on turn one no Herklinos)
Percentage around 78-85
Lightsworn
Played against 71 Times
won 37 Times ( Must get prohibition on first hand to stop lumina or lyla or that's it. Just too fast)

DAD

Played against 365 Times
won against 297 Times ( This is your Best Matchup)

This deck looks rly awesome and actually the black horn of heaven save you lifepoints. I really like this idea for a gadget build and im gona play test this see how it works at my next tourney. Again really  nice deck and explaining it made it so much better.

Trust me it works whether i call bestari or herklinos it doesn't matter as long as prohibition is on the opening turn

i like prohibition but i suggest calling bestiari bcuzz that stops the hole prisma gyzarus heraklinos combo
