Ok if you may not know that LODT is now legal on the sanctioned tournament scene than i am sorry to hear that. From going to my local I was expecting to see nothing but Dark Armed Dragon Return and lightsworn decks. I standed correct on that statement and have noticed that both decks can get flat out beaten most of the time with some nice techs. I know what you are thinking right now and that is, "But how am I suppose to do that against all the decks in the meta of today?" The answer is simple and that is study each deck and see were they get hurt the most.
SO after the day of nothing but two major decks that are splitted from light to dark OTK's. I am proud to say that i swept the day with a outstanding record of one of my expierement decks called, "mirror gadgets." If came up with this deck from soo many reasons and that was from many hours of studying and play testing with both decks. The first thing that i noticed is that with the mid-format changes and the release of a new set is that both lightsworn and Dark Armed Dragon Return both take atleast a turn to set up.That their allows you to actually use your tech cards to the fullest.
I think its about time to get to the deck before i make comments on why i choose soe cards over some cards.

So time to explain some of the cards on what can be considered tech cards.
1. cyber phoenix-ok you are proably reading this and saying, "what how can this be played because it is way too slow for this meta." Well my friend you are totally wrong because with the rant of phoenix wing wind blast being huge again, they are getting main decked everywhere. Also with Ryko's being splashed in a lot of decks they will be useless especially when i have a field full of gadgets and a phoenix.
2.protector-This card is a wrecking machine seriously i can not stress on this combo that means you will win 95% of the time if playing any deck that involves either light or dark monsters and that simple combo is; protector + shadow and light imprissioning mirror. If you draw into all 3 on turn 1 i promise you that you just go a opening that will wreck your oppenents deck
3.light+shadow imprisioning mirror-ok first off with both any dark and light monsters being used in almost every deck today, you may never know what deck you may play next round in your regional. So with this dou tech it allows me to cripple my oppenent with out even diving into my side deck after a game 1 loss from that otk.
4.bottmless trap hole-ok seriously these will staple until the end of this format mainly because it stops all major decks by not letting their game winning monster such as judgment dragon or dark armed dragon hit you for game.
Well thank you for your time and on monday of next week(May 26), I will post a report from a tournament in LA from a card store called Card Rush.
