Hello Magikers
How many of you don't have enough time to playtest or want to improve your playesting?
There are many different application available but the most popular is Magic WorkStation (MWS).
Although the changes to MWS have been slow coming it is the most popular and the starting point for online leagues.
Online Leagues allow you to find higher quality games quicker and tournaments. Magic: The Gathering Temple (MTG Temple) is one of the newer leagues. Despite newer and smaller MTG Temple strives to outdo the competition by having more tournaments and having those tournaments being more competitive. What makes MTG Temple unique is its drive to match in quality of larger DCI Events in competition and prizes.
One example of this is a GP that MTG Temple will be hosting in early May. The winner of this event will be SPONSORED for the following 2 DCI Events - meaning Deck and Entry Fee's paid. In addition there is a prize pool of $175 to be split among the top 3 players (assuming 50 players minimum)
1st - $100
2nd - $50
3rd - $25
In addition the TOP 8 will be qualified for another money tournament later that month.
This is a pretty high prize pool for a FREE online event, as well as 2 free Tournaments and a FREE Brand new deck, you cant go wrong. Along with all these prizes and tournaments MTG Temple has in place a token system for all their nightly hosted tournaments called Temple Challenges. This is a token system where for every 3 players a token is given out over the top two players (depending on attendance). These Tokens can be redeemed in many ways one of those ways includes 3 Free packs of the newest Set. With Shadowmoor just around the corner I'm sure people wouldn't mind some free packs right?
This might all seem great and fun, but MTG Temple isn't just about Tournaments and Prizes, its about players having fun and making friends. MTG Temple is working hard to make our Chat room Friendly and family oriented.
