Hulk’s Three-Ton Boulder was preview early as a Marvel Legends card, yet very few people were satisfied. It’s of the few equipments in Vs System with such a high cost: 3 resource points. Usually, points used to recruit equipment are expected to remain for such a time, however this boulder has the cost of KO’ing itself. Ok, so it costs a lot, 3 resource points and to KO itself, the important part is what it does. The boulder’s effect isn’t too bad: stunning a target character with cost 3 or less. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, you have to exhaust the equipped character for the cost as well (I know, more downsides). So, it is worth it? You can use an equipment from your hand, 3 resource points and the activate of one of your characters, all to stun a character with cost 3 or less. You could use it to stun one of those annoying little character like Beast Boy or Invisible Woman, but usually your opponent has their own safeguards. Cards like Cloak of Nabu, B.P.R.D. Signal Device and Pathetic Attempt nearly ruin Hulk’s boulder. The boulder is powerless to a signal device.

Here we go again. I could have drawn a picture, Hulk with the boulder, about to smash Ahmed or Invisible Woman, but there’s a little Cloak or Signal Device is the way, and the boulder crumbles. Because the character is hidden, Hulk can’t even attack them. Poor Hulk. BACK TO ADVENTURE.
