Ready? Set. Brawl! (Part Three)
Posted On 03/05/2008 17:01:29 by wiiman

** Spoilers**

(Regarding Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

Part III: Stages

Battlefield: I’m glad it got tuned up and gained a background this time around. It was kind dull in the last game because it lacked the excitement. At least a cool background makes it a bit better.

Delfino Plaza: This stage looks really cool. It’s great to see all the places visited back in Sunshine. I’m really into that part where they take you over the water, by the lighthouse. Weird, the characters can swim.

Bridge of Eldin: This stage looks really plain, but I think it’s awesome. The way the bridge smashes goes great, just like in the game. When it comes back it’s cool too. It’s really long too. I think it will get really crazy with meteor smashes when the bridge breaks.

Smashville: Lol, that’s a great name. It looks really cool with the background and all of the AC characters that come and watch. And K.K.’s performance sounds really cool, I’m pretty sure I’ll be playing every Saturday at 8 by the way.

Rumble Falls: The ladders make this stage really cool. I think it’s better than the old DK stages. It takes on the old Icicle Mountain idea of a rising stage which makes it cool.

Caste Siege: Finally a Fire Emblem stage. The top part looks kinda small, but the middle looks great too. The underground it cool too. If you haven’t seen it yet, they just go check out some you tube videos if you want to.

WarioWare: Oh man. This stage, like many others, just looks crazy. The micro-game switches will cause some serious problems. And I’m not too sure what you get if you succeed the micro-game though.

New Pork City: Apparently this is the stage that is the same size as the old temple, but I haven’t seen it run yet. It looks much more exciting than the old temple too, even though it’s back in classic stages.

The Summit: This might be my favourite stage so far. That fish that comes up and eats you is just awesome. When the glacier starts sliding it looks great.

Frigate Orpheon: It’s interesting to say that there was an entire Metroid trilogy between smash bros 2 and 3. It’s cool that they take a stage from the first too. After a while this stage will flip, and if you get stuck you’re probably going to go down. Sounds really fun.

Mushroomy Kingdom: Ok, I lied, This is my favourite stage. It can switch between Mario Bros. level 1-1 or 1-2. I think I’m more interested in 1-2 but they both sound great. The way it scrolls left didn’t interest me at first, but I can’t wait to play it now.
