(Regarding Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Part II: Game Modes
The Subspace Emissary: This looks extremely cool. The cut-scenes look absolutely cool and the story goes between awesome and funny. It’s good to see the characters actually kind woven together too. The gameplay looks like very similar to that of a classic Kirby Super Star (virtual console anytime?). That’s good thing too, that game was great. It’s pretty sweet that the SSE is co-op too. Oh, and you’ve got to love the way new characters are introduced. Not to mention Ike’s sweet appearance.
Classic: It’s good that they didn’t take this out, it’s just a nice way to run through and battle Master Hand. Hope it still has those cool mini-games in there too.
Boss Run: You can do a boss run for the SSE after you beat it. It looks cool, especially those Ridley battles.
Events: Events were awesome in the last game and I hope they are as good in this one too. There’s probably the same amount in this one, that’s cool.
Stadium: Multi-man brawl is back and good. Same with Home-Run contest and break-the-targets. I’m glad to see Home-Run contest as a co-op too. There are going to be some crazy scores.
Special Brawl: This looks way better than last tine. You can just change it completely to how you want it. I’m definitely going to play some Spicy Curry matches.
Wi-Fi: Horrah for Wi-Fi battles! It’s great that there aren’t any statistics that are kept either. Maybe it will be not dominated by pros. I think that loading screen is great too, where you get to pound on Sandbag.
Stage-Builder: Now I can finally make the stages I want. It looks really complex too. So now you can make stages really nuts. First I’m going to make a simple one that’s Doctor Mario’s stage. (Too bad he got cut) It’s just a big tube with walls all around except at the top. Up-smash FTW!
Coin-Launcher: Yeah, there’s no more lousy lottery, now it’s a mini-game!
