Part I: Characters

Bowser: Well, I wasn’t interested too much in Bowser for the last game, but I’m sure he’ll be better here. His Giga Bowser transformation is looking great.

Captain Falcon: Falcon’s final smash looks interesting, but I’m more interested in the punch. I believe now you can turn around half way through it. Sounds crazy.

Donkey Kong: Nah, DK just isn’t my character.

Falco Lombardi: Now Falco was a powerhouse in the last game, but I’ve heard he’s toned down. They ripped his forward smash apart too. That’s probably a good thing.

Fox McCloud: Fox is great, they gave him a cool new look too. He’s going to be great but I’m not too psyched for his final smash. Meh.

Ganondorf: Ganon’s final smash is one of the ones to look forward too. A lot of people are still mad because he’s still a “clone”, and should have used his sword, but whatever. He’s all good.

Ice Climbers: These guys need a commitment to get good as. I’m not too good at controlling them together so I’m not too psyched again. Their final smash is looking sweet though.

Jigglypuff: I don’t understand why the little pokemon Jugglypuff is in smash. Whatever.

Kirby: Kirby’s awesome. He’s got a new load of powers to take too. I’m interested on his running attack though. Do you think they changed it?

Link: Go gale boomerang, Looks awesome!

Luigi: Nah, I’m not into Lui’s crazy styles.

Mario: People keep saying that Mario has undergone a drastic change in moveset, but I’ve yet to see that. I’m thinking his F.L.U.D.D. move is cool though.

Marth: He was another powerhouse in the old game, I wonder if they changed his meteor smash? His critical hit final smash looks cool, and is apparently very lethal.

Mr. Game & Watch: Hmm. Maybe I’ll give Game and Watch another try in this game, but the last one he didn’t work very well for me.

Ness: Also not too interested in. Meh.

Pikachu: Pikachu’s all good. His moves are nearly the same too. His final smash is similar too Sonic’s looks brutal and dangerous.

Princess Peach: Peach was a powerhouse in the last game because of her brutal down smash. They fixed it up in this game so it doesn’t do 30%+ in damage. Yay!

Princess Zelda: Zelda’s Din’s Fire looks like it moves way faster this time around, and but her attacks look all the same so that’s cool.

Sheik: Sheik was pretty much the best in Melee, but I keep hearing that she got toned down big-time. That’s probably for the best too.

Samus Aran: Samus hasn’t changed too much either. I like that the tether recovery in auto aimed though.

Zero Suit Samus: It’s cool that Samus can changed between Zero Suit anytime and not just a final smash. Zero Suit looks really cool.

Yoshi: Meh. Yoshi was usually known for his absurd double-jump. I’m pretty sure he retains that ability in brawl too.

Young Link: Yay, it’s the Wind Waker Link. He’s looking really cool. His boomerang and bombs and animations all fit into his series and look really good.

Diddy Kong: Looking okay. I actually haven’t seen much about him. I’m not too excited for this new DK. I’m glad he’s in though, he’s one of those characters that just had to get in.

Ike: Ike is the man (see avatar). I’m a big fan of the Fire Emblem series and the last two in particular. I can ‘t wait to play as Ike. He’s one of the “big and powerful” guys, so that’s going to be interesting.

King Dedede: I don’t know much about Dedede, but he’s big (so probably heavy) and has a rapid-jump. His neutral B attack sucks up the enemy and looks really good.

Lucario: I guess he’s the new Mewtwo. He’s looking interesting, with some weird effects depending on his %.

Lucas: I thought Lucas was going to be just like Ness, but through the videos I’ve seen he can do some real damage.

Meta Knight: The Kiby series gets two new characters and Meta-Knight is mighty interesting.

Pikmin & Olimar: Pikmin and Olimar look really fun. They pluck out Pikmin really fast and his throw attack deals brutal damage if your opponent doesn’t shake.

Pit: Pit was revealed way long ago and his attacks look cool. He’s got an arrow move similar to Link’s.

Pokemon Trainer: A lot of people went mad over pokemon trainer and I’m sure they still are. I’m most interested in Squirtle though, rather than the usual Charizard.

R.O.B.: I don’t really get it. Looks, weird.

Solid Snake: It seems like forever since he was revealed. He plays pretty cool too with that Grenade move.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic stole all the speed from Falcon, but that’s probably good. His Final Smash seems to just crazy good. He’ll be a fun fast character.

Wario: I wasn’t interested in Wario at first but he’s looking a lot better now. He moves really cool.

Wolf: Wolf looks like a great character. He’s similar to Fox and Falco, and he doesn’t appear in the SSE but I’m definitely going to give him a good try.
