My first tcgplayer.com blog. Hmm... may as well introduce myself.
My name is Ric Pittman (I've went by the nicknames: "theTrick" in #apprentice years ago and more recently as "MediumSexy" on teamcanadaonline.net)
I've been playing ccgs since 1994, started out with the "On the Edge" card game, and a couple months later started playing Magic: the Gathering. I opened and ran a comic book/gaming store called "TradeWinds Cards & Games" for four years, until a pending divorce caused me to close it down.
My most noteable gaming accomplishments include the WWE Raw Deal collectable card game. I won the 2006 Dragon*Con Qualifier, and played in the 2007 WWE Raw Deal World Championship with an overall win/loss record of 5-3. (I was a "countout" victory away from winning the whole thing.)
Anyways, I've decided that since playing ccgs is what I'm good at, I'll give the World of Warcraft tcg a try. Enter Darkmoon Faire Orlando on March 7th-9th. I'm making the trip with my lovely girlfriend Adrienne this coming up weekend. We'll be hitting MegaCon (megaconvention.com) on Friday (where I'll hope to pick up cards needed to round out my deck) and Sunday, with the only tournament I'm planning on playing in being the Darkmoon Faire Championship on Saturday.
I guess I'll keep it short and sweet for my first blog. Look for my next one to be after DMF Orlando. Hopefully it'll be a 1st place tournament report. Until next time, tks for reading!
