Concealed Gems #3
Posted On 02/26/2008 17:25:30 by wiiman - Read 154 time(s)

Now this is a card that you’ve actually never heard of. It’s got a lot of text, and a lot of different uses. First, read it over. Then you should probably re-read it. Just, for now, scratch that ongoing part, pretend that it’s a non-ongoing plot twist with no team-stamp. This Multiverse Power Battery is an equipment hate, along with the effect of moving the targeted character, whether it be yours or your opponent’s. You can use it as a way to KO equipments, with no cost restriction like A Proud Zinco Product. It also doubles as a way to move your characters, often from the support row to the front row as your attack step starts off-initiative. To that is also can move an opposing character, opening up a breakthrough window and even scrapping leader abilities. The only problem with it is that it targets the character, rather than the equipment. Now, when people use Cloak of Nabu, Fate Artifact, they are unable to be targeted by opposing effects, this makes it impossible to KO that equipment with the Power Battery. But, a simple solution is, as they recruit the Cloak of Nabu, respond with the use of Multiverse Power Battery. Because recruiting equipment requires a target, this “battery” is a savior.

If you control a character (let's say Batman) with the version Earth 2, then Batman becomes non-unique except to the version Earth 2.

It's true I've never even heard of this card. What does the second part of the plot twist do exactly? I don't get it.
