i must say that how supprised i am on how this deck works, and deals with other decks!
so as i said in my previous post, this deck was built to work around piercing damaging monsters, and fill up my opponants monster zones with ojamas, and low defense monsters (with help from foolish revival) after play testing this more, and then again using today in the weekly tourney, its been uprisingly strong, and the most noticesble cards were not ones i was expecting :)
cards such as airknight parshath, enraged battle ox, evil hero malicious edge, GG panda, really make good use of the ojama tokens, most noticably GG panda (which is one of my new favourite cards) getting up to 3300 attack in most games. timeater also has been an amazing card to put in, almost always making the opponant skip his/her battle phase that turn. the recentest change i have made is the addition of just deserts, which can deal up to 2500 in one go, (yay for ojamas!)
ok ive know youve been waiting for it:P so hres the deck list
foolish control
monsters: 21
2 x airknight parshath
1 x break the magical warrior
1 x enraged battle ox
3 x evil hero malicious edge
1 x giant rat
3 x GG panda
3 x hydrogeddon
1 x magician of faith
1 x marshmallon
1 x needle worm
1 x sangan
1 x timeater
1 x treeborn frog
spells: 8
1 x book of moon
1 x brain control
2 x enemy controlller
1 x heavy storm
1 x MST
1 x premature burial
1 x shield crush
traps: 11
1 x BTH
1 x dust tornado
2 x foolish revival
1 x just deserts
1 x mirror force
1 x needle ceiling
3 x ojama trio
1 x sakurestsu
the basicl idea is to ojama up your opponant asap (well i normally wait till they hae at least one monster on the field) and get the panda out. giant rat is great here as he can search out the panda. by using needle worm to get more of a seclection on monsters in theyre graveyard for foolish revival, and a great tribute for malicious edge. needle ceiling is a great card to use with ojamas, and addiion to the monster loss, they take 300 dmg for each one!
and i bet you wanna here the results of the tourney today also? well i came 2nd out of 16 people, (tho i did have a bye win) my only loss was to the winner, who was playing a sick simochi burn deck, with lots of great combos, and killed me very early on in game.
toodles
