Seattle regionals 2008 was a bit of a bit of an oddexperience, not only the tournament, but also the day in general. My ride knocked on my door at 8:20 AM,at which time I promptly woke up, threw on some flowered shorts, a long sleeveshirt, and a jacket. Of course Iwas mocked all day for this, but I digress. So regionals was coming up. I hadn't played Standard in months (trip to Hong Kong Jan/Feb, come back and it is Ext season) and I have no idea what to play. It's not a card access issue; I just couldn't decide whether to play a base green aggro deck, Faeries, or Reveillark. I tried faeries at 2 smallish tournaments and did OK, but I really didn't like having to play around numerous hate cards every single match. Well here's the deck I'll be using at my regionals in Chelmsford UK I don't really know what the meta is gonna be it's really hard to judge on these small scale tournies. It’s a given there will be plenty of Faeries and i think Merfolk and RDW will probably make a good showing as they are both relatively cheap and that is normally a factor in small tournies.
