Well after I bombed out with Dragonstorm at Friday Night Magic tonight I decided to make a new type of faerie deck. Three colored Faeries it looks a lot like a regular Faerie deck but with a splash. Didn't feel motivated enough to write a report about the San Diego PTQ last weekend, but some of my experiences in that event are relevant in a discussion of my most recent list. With every new expansion comes with many deck concepts waiting to be unlocked. DAD, Beast-warriors & lightsworn decks are just flooding every tournment, eating away the top 8 positions. Syncro decks though new, are starting to pick up positions for themselves marking the sucess of syncro decks. With my weekly tournment coming up, i desperately looked through my stack of old cards. I've been too lazy/unmotivated/emo to do any actual playtesting since the PTQs at PT Hollywood, and very disinterested in Lorwyn Block Constructed in general. However, I finally got to PTQ again after a long break, and as such I had to come up with a deck. A quick scan through the PTQ top 8 decks showed me that Faeries is simply too good to not play.
