Hello again, it's been awhile, I've had a busy summer and haven't had much to write about. This will be an overview on a new deck suggestion and two tournament reports. I was going into this GP with little time for playtesting, but had a little experience with kithkin having won a gpt with it. I had a deck idea I had wanted to try out, I gave myself a couple days to test it out before I moved on, as it happened I had very positive results in testing and decided to give it a shot. Kithki... For almost the entire block season, I have been playing a multi-color control deck, and I have finally found the best 5c control list that I could make (If you know me, or my ego, that translates into “No one can do better.”). I suggested this list: 4x Figure of Destiny 4x Goldmeadow Stalwart 4x Wizened Cenn 4x Knight of Meadowgrain 3x Cloudgoat Ranger 2x Furystoke Giant 4x Spectral Procession 4x Flame Jab 3x Mirrorweave 4x Lash Out 4x Windbrisk Heights 4x Rugged Prairie 5x Mountain 11xP... I've been too lazy/unmotivated/emo to do any actual playtesting since the PTQs at PT Hollywood, and very disinterested in Lorwyn block Constructed in general. However, I finally got to PTQ again after a long break, and as such I had to come up with a deck. A quick scan through the PTQ top 8 decks showed me that Faeries is simply too good to not play. I'm not usually the sort who will just play the best deck (just ask my rating!), but when a deck puts 5 people into a top 8 and nobody b... Read More
