I am actually just getting back into the game of Yu-Gi-Oh and I have noticed alot of things upon my return to the game. Alot of the current decks That are around nowadays are so Very strong and can overwelm an oppoonent very quickly, Decks like Lightsworn, Gladiator beasts, Monarchs, and Dark Armed Dragon are all the most dominating decks of the current meta. Decks following it would be Destiny end dragon control and Jinzo Returner/Jinzo combination. I have yet to see an elemental hero deck sinc... Read More
A few days back I was playing a game over MWS as I usually do, when I witnessed something so painful my faith in the game was hurled out of control. I was wielding my quite unusual World’s Finest deck against what seemed to be an X-Men Assemble deck. No, that’s not the part that threw me off, I actually don’t hate X-Men Assemble as a card like many others do. It was when we reached a later turn that sometime unusual happened. After the match finished, discussion with... Read More
Alright, since there was some confusion with my last blog over what format I was talking about, I’ll be clearer. Today’s deck list is for block, BLOCK. Was it magically reprinted so that I didn’t know about it? Okay, enough poster-bashing, on to the goodies. ... Read More
I love red. It's my favorite color in Magic. The first deck I ever played at my friend Alex's house was a Tempest block aggro deck with Mogg Maniacs, Earthquakes and Pyromantics. The first major tournament I played in was in Tempest-Urza's Standard, when I brought my Wildfire Artifact deck to battle. My first JSS win I played WGB mix-up with Spiritmonger, Vindicate, Pernicious Deed... but ended up winning the thing in the finals against my Mono-U control opponent by successfully resolving Urza's... This popcorn I'm eating is delicious. Oh sorry, I was going to say something relevant in this post. Something you would approve of, not just pointless rantings. Oh Lolcats. Thank you for your approval. You make me rofl. Oh, right. Red and Green spells. I thought that, instead of just posting decks ad nauseum, I'd actually share my thoughts on this deck and talk about match ups and stuff. I played this deck at my FNM this evening and went 5-0-1 against fi... Read More
