Title: Choosing and Making Your Deck
Tags:
Blog Entry: There is a time that every duelest, both new and old, will have to overcome. This is deckbuilding time. How you build your deck can make or brake you. I'm here to talk about how to make sure you biuld your deck wisely. First, look at you budget. Are you willing to spend hundreds of dollars, or are you going to by a starter deck and a couple of packs and call it good? Both have pros and cons to them. If you spend hundreds of dollars on a deck, that deck will probally be good. If you don't spend that much money, their is no commitment, and you can quit when you want. Either way, make sure you're playing for the right reasons. Are you playing to have fun with friends, or to win? Playing for the wrong reasons will lead to your future downfall. So please, don't play just to laugh at other players when you beat them. When making your deck, try to follow a theme. Don't mix things two good deck ideas up. If you did, it would be like puting pizza and ice cream in a blender. Two good things that shouldn't be put together. How do you start? If you haven't played, and want to, i would go pick a the lastest starter deck and 5 packs. You might be surprized at what you can make wiht that much. -dougz-
